Intersectionality is the simultaneous experience of more than one kind of oppression. This includes homophobia and transphobia, but can also include racism, sexism, ableism, religious discrimination, and more. GLSEN's GSA Registration provides you an opportunity to receive resources, and for your GSA to be counted as one of the thousands of student clubs across the country working to make schools safer and more affirming for all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

We support LGBTQ+ youth organizers across the country to take action and create change at all levels, from school-based campaigns that impact individual school districts to national days of action that unite GSAs for racial and gender justice.
